The International Victory Youth Ministry (IVY)

We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness. GOALS

The goal of IVY is to minister the word of God to the youth of Pearland. The focus is to raise a generation that will be equipped to stand as the future leaders of this community. Through studying the word, participating in praise and worship, as well as practicing in spiritual gifts, we seek to glorify the Lord with our lives.

Jeremiah 1:4-8

4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." 6 Then said I: "Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." 7 But the Lord said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord.

Friday Service

Every Friday night, the youth gather at the church to hear the Word and fellowship with one another.

Revival nights 

The youth organized and perform at revival nights. The first manifestation of the Holy Spirit happened during Friday youth service when the attendees worshiped. After this encounter, the youth pushed to have a joint revival night with the praise and worship team and later on opened it to other member of the church who desired to participate.

Networking 

The Youth regularly participate in networking events around the Pearland/Houston area such as performing with other churches at the Love Unites event as well as having fellowship with other youth groups in the area.
